There’s also – well, I can’t talk about more just yet. The Halo Wars 2 team is anxiously gearing up for E3, where the game will indeed be playable. Teams across the studio are preparing for the upcoming Hog Wild REQ Drop, the Warzone Firefight release, and even goodness that lies beyond. It’s probably too early for a Halo 6 reveal, but maybe we’ll get a teaser for the final entry in the Forerunner trilogy at E3. Some other things we’re also teased by the 343 Industries blog post that aren’t ready to be talked about just yet. We haven’t heard a peep about Halo Wars 2 since the game’s announcement, but 343 Industries has confirmed that the game will be playable at E3 this year. Microsoft has quite a few exclusives in the pipeline, whether you believe it or not, and there’s one in particular I keep forgetting was announced last year: Halo Wars 2.Īnnounced during the Microsoft Gamescom 2015 press conference, Halo Wars 2 is currently in development at The Creative Assembly who are also the developers of the recently released Total War: Warhammer and one of my personal favorites, Alien: Isolation.
